At the heart of each sentient being lies pure potential.
This abundance of unimaginable treasure and inner wisdom light, when awakened can soar through the darkness that pervades our world.
An inspiration for my life and art is Buddha, in many ways the original conservationist.
He developed his mind to its full potential having awakened from the sleep of ignorance and cast off the shackles of mistaken needs, desires and irritations.
Each of us has the ability to create a pathway for lasting freedom by nourishing our capacity for love, compassion and wisdom.
How do we put the brakes on further destruction of our world? Slow down the advances of climate change, conflict and the ravages of war?
When insatiable greed, consumerism, fighting and their guises race ahead for the mirage-like prize!
Buddha illuminated a way of life wherein there is no need to destroy, pollute, conquer or damage others and their dwellings.
I hope we can all tap into this inspiration for an eternity.
